Hello, my name is Scott Erwin. I'm the Director of Rowing and the Men's Head Rowing Coach at CSU Long Beach. We are not part of the Athletic Department; we are a Club Sport on campus. That means, for the most part, the student-athletes self-fund the rowing program's budget with their club membership dues. We are a smaller program competing side by side with larger funded rowing programs.

We are looking to raise funds to race at the ACRA National Championships Regatta in Tennessee, May 14th-May 18th. Last season, we sent two Men's 4+ to ACRA. Both did well, with one of the 4+'s coming in 5th in the country, fighting through a field of 33 schools. This season, we want to send boats from both the Men's and Women's Teams. We are looking to send a total of 5 boats this season.

The funds raised will go to pay for airline tickets, hotels, rental vehicles, and regatta entry fees. The cost is about $1000 per student-athlete. Our ability to send all of these athletes will directly depend on how much money we raise. Every dollar donated helps!!!!
