My new book, Imperfect Victims: Criminalized Survivors and the Promise of Abolition Feminism, argues that to protect criminalized survivors of gender-based violence, we must dismantle the carceral system. I would love for incarcerated criminalized survivors--many of whose stories are told in the book-- to be able to read it. So I'm partnering with prison book projects across the country to raise funds to send copies of Imperfect Victims into prisons.
