Hi :) My name is Shahed. The little guy is Cookie! I’ve been in the U.S. for over eight years now. Growing up in this educational system, I knew from day one that I wanted to go to college.

I'm a Senior in high school and I’ve been offered an incredible scholarship and opportunity at a liberal arts college. I plan to double major in marketing and journalism, maybe even pre-law or engineering (still deciding which will give me fewer all-nighters). This is truly a dream come true, but I need a little help to make it happen since my attendance will cost $12,371. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me. This year, my total of attendance comes down to $12,371

Books and supplies: $1290

Travel: $1300

Miscellaneous: $1350 (This includes dorm room insurance and shipping some of my things from CT to CA)

Health Insurance(offered by the college): $3241

Tuition: $5190 The reason it's low is that my mom is a single mom who doesn't make much so the college was generous enough to pay most of it
