My name is Charlotte, I am 19 years old and I have Dystonia and Spastic Quad Cerebral Palsy. I am confined to a wheelchair and I cannot participate in many activities that able-bodied people an.
Ever since I was 4 years old, I have been attending the Easter Seals Camp called Camp Merrywood. I love this camp because, I get to see my friends, I get to try many activities that I couldn't do in the regular world and most of all, everything is accessible.
Up until I was 18, the Easter Seals Society covered most of the cost for me to attend camp. Since I turned 19, that funding is no longer available. I am trying to raise funds so that I can attend 2 sessions of camp this year. The total cost is $3400. I need these funds by June 30 in order to pay for camp.
