Hi, my name is Ms. James and I am fundraising to take a group of students to Italy. I, along with my colleagues, try to provide a well rounded approach to education that support all aspects of development including after school programs, college and career trips, sports, arts education and mental health support. One of the ways to educate is through first hand experience and exposure to the world. Many of my students have never left the country or even New York City, except to go to their home country. This is a once in a lifetime experience for our students, many of whom have been in classes together for a majority of their academic careers. As a result, they asked me to organize a trip to explore Italy, a country that we have discussed in class. I hope that our students will not only learn about a country rich in history and culture, but also learn about themselves, their interests, and engage in global citizenship. Please help us reach our goal and create memories that will last a lifetime.
