Football has been a constant in my life for years. It’s taken me across Canada, introduced me to lifelong friends, and given me a sense of purpose, discipline, and community that I’ll carry long after the final whistle. What started as a love for the game turned into years of commitment to football — showing up, grinding through seasons, and building something bigger than myself with my teammates.

Now, as I head into my final season, the Calgary Gators have been given an incredible opportunity: to represent Alberta football on an international stage in Germany. For me, this feels like a full-circle moment — one last ride with the game that’s shaped so much of who I am, and a chance to take Canadian men's league football across the sea.

This trip isn’t about luxury or vacation. It’s about the opportunity to compete, to represent our football community, and to close out a chapter that has meant everything to me in the best way possible.
