About little bit about us:
Brought together by the Oklahoma City Olympic training center, we connect, drive and share our enthusiasm to represent the United States in Lightweight rowing.
Brooke Ruszkiewicz began rowing in 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin. She completely fell in-love with the sport and made a commitment to pursue rowing at collegiate and future Olympic level. In 2021, Brooke started training at the Oklahoma City Olympic Training Center. She will attend Stanford University in the Fall of 2022.
Ruthie Lacy joined the Oklahoma City junior rowing team in 2017. Being recruited to row for Oklahoma City University in 2020, she found herself training in the same boathouse with Olympic High Performance athletes. This sparked interest in international racing along with future Olympic aspirations. She competed in the Under 23 World Rowing Championships in 2021 - placing 3rd in the world.
