Hello everyone, my name is Brendan Salisbury and I am a student at Barry Goldwater High School in the International Baccalaureate program. From a very young age, I have been fascinated in how my brain and the brains of others work. At 10 years old, I was given my first neurology book and ever since, I have been enamored with neuroscience. It is my dream to become a Pediatric Neurologist with my own foundation helping children across the world with different neurodevelopmental and cognitive disabilities. This is why when I was offered the chance to attend the National Student Leadership Conference and study Neuroscience at UC Berkeley, I was elated. But I need my community’s help, the cost of the camp is more than I can afford on my own. No matter what you can give, it will help.
