Send Books (and Tyler) to Botswana

I've been invited to speak at the Pan Africa ILGA – 2018 Regional Conference . I'm the coauthor of the The Children Are Free, a book about homosexuality and the Bible that has been well-received across Africa. I'm also a child of missionaries and spent most of my childhood years in Zambia. For these reasons, the organizers  think my presence at this conference would be good for the young people who'll attend. For my part, I'm glad to be part of an LGBT-affirming event that is African led, and that is working to dismantle the prejudice spread by American missionaries, so I've agreed to waive my speaker's fees. 

We're trying to raise money to help cover the cost of giving every attendee a copy of my book and for the cost of my plane tickets.  Money raised will go first to the books and second to my travel. Any additional money will be used to print extra books to be given away for free to people in African countries. Gateway ONA (a St. Louis LGBTQ+ organization) has agreed to keep and disburse the funds.

Plane Tickets: $2,000

We need the money by April 25th to make it work.
