Dear Friends and Family,
I have been blessed with the opportunity to go on my first overseas missions trip to Haiti with our church, Calvary Chapel Smoky Mountains, in Sevierville, TN. We will be working with Housetops For Haiti, which was founded by my pastor, Lance Halseth in 2012. Here is the Promo Video from our Pastor.
I will be serving and volunteering with the local women and children in doing Bible Studies, VBS, and more, all the while loving on the people.
The men of the group will be putting a concrete floor in for the church being built on Housetops for Haiti property, all while incorporating the Gospel message and sharing the love of Jesus.
The city we will be staying in is called Les Cayes [ley kay] and it is a seaport on the SW coast of Haiti.
Please prayerfully consider helping in any way you feel led. This is only the first of many Mission trips for me, as I have been accepted to attend Bethany Global University in the fall and am being called to be a Full-Time Missionary after graduation. I cannot wait to see what The Lord has in store for me as I follow His leading to take the Church where it is not.
