Abby and Sean welcomed Carson Robert their first baby, on March 14, 2021 after an uneventful, textbook pregnancy. Carson was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth.
Abby and Sean immediately fell in love with their baby and shared the news on social media saying "He is the most cuddly, loving, and adorable boy and we can't believe he is all ours."
On March 24th Abby and Sean noticed Carson was vomiting and it wasn't a "normal" color, resulting in a few tense hours in the ED at Cincinnati Children's. Carson was taken for emergency surgery that night.
Today is day seven in the NICU and Abby and Sean haven't left his side.
The money from this campaign will help to cover NICU medical expenses and provide some financial help to Abby and Sean so they can continue to be at Carson's side. They are such good advocates for him and know his every cue already. Any additional funds raised will be used towards any early intervention, therapies or needs Carson may have in the future.
