Hi!  We're raising money for the Avalon School team to compete in the US Academic Decathlon National Tournament April 25-27, 2019!  

Academic Decathlon has had a huge impact on our academic lives, as we’ve learned good study tactics, how to write and improvise for prepared and impromptu speeches, how to write a concise essay, and how to give a good interview, all skills that are important inside and outside our academic careers. This year we've studied the art, music, literature, science, economics and history of the 1960s!  Plus combinations & permutations and statistics!

With lots of hard work we won the Minnesota State Tournament for the first time this year.  Avalon is a small school with a small budget and we need to raise funds to help cover our expenses.
