Send Ava-Lucia to Law School

Hello everyone, my name is Ava Strother and I'm absolutely thrilled at the chance to attend McGill University's Summer Academy for International Migration and Law! As a 17-year-old with big dreams of becoming a lawyer, this opportunity is incredibly important to me. I've always been passionate about advocating for justice and equality and McGill's program would give me a head start on the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the world. In grade 10, I was honored to receive an award for being the top law student, which fueled my determination to pursue this career path further.

To make this journey even more impactful, I'll be launching a letter-writing campaign to government officials around the world advocating for women and girl’s rights globally. For every $100 closer I get to my goal I'll send another uniquely targeted letter to raise awareness and support for marginalized women and girl's in specific regions. This is deeply personal to me, and I believe that legal advocacy is a powerful tool in bringing about positive change. I'm reaching out for your support to help me make this dream a reality.
