Austin Habash just completed his fourth year at St. John Vianney Seminary for the Diocese of Dodge City, KS. He has been generous in his service to the Church, having started up a non-profit organization that empowers lay people to do door-to-door evangelization. Through this work of evangelization, Austin has felt a deeper and deeper desire to pursue a life of intimate prayer with Jesus Christ. These stirrings in his heart seem to be an invitation from Jesus Himself, and so Austin has begun the process of seeking out a monastic community where he might spend his life in spiritual works of mercy, prayer, and generous penance. But here's the hitch: he still has student loans hanging over his head, and no monastery is equipped to pay off these loans. And so here's where we come in! Will you stand with us and with Austin, and help us to pay off his student loans so that he can pursue monastic life? We're trying to raise about $26,000 by August.
