Send Angel to perform with the OAM

A friend and co-worker’s musically talented son has been invited by the Oregon Ambassadors of Music (OAM) to join the European Music Tour next summer to perform on the stages in Vienna, Prague, and Salzburg. This is a once-in-a- lifetime opportunity, but the cost may prohibit him from participating. I'd like to make this dream a reality for him as I truly believe it will be a life-changing experience, but they can use some help achieving that dream.

Angel is a freshman at Tualatin High School and currently plays saxophone, piano, guitar, and sings. He plays in the school’s high school band and sings with the Crimsonnaires. The cost for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is $7,138.

Angel’s mom is a single mom of two teenage boys who is not only working full-time to support them and takes on second jobs to make ends meet, she is also working on completing her Master’s program. Even with the multiple fundraising ideas we are working on, it’s still going to take a village to raise the money for him to attend. He is willing to collect cans, do summer jobs, and can come sing (in English and Spanish) for donations.

In addition, The Oregon Music Education Association (a non-profit; tax ID 45-1214681) has graciously offered to collect donations for tax deductions which will be sent to the Oregon Ambassadors of Music in Angel’s name.
