Our son, Christopher, has just successfully completed the Air Force R.O.T.C. Field Training with excellent results. He is now entering the Professional Officers Corps at the beginning of his Junior year at Oregon State University. The end of his Spring Term, he was awarded the recognition of achieving a place in Honor Roll. Christopher graduated from Friendswood High School in Friendswood, TX, class of 2018. He was accepted and began his journey to college at Oregon State University. Christopher has also contributed a lot of his time to Young Life work weekends, his churches Summer camp programs and even during Hurricane Harvey, he made sure that the families and helpers throughout our neighborhood, received food, water, snacks and fruit on a daily basis. Christopher has truly applied himself well in college and R.O.T.C. His eagerness to become an Air Force Pilot drives himself harder in order to perform well with all of the training and challenges thrown his way. We’re very proud of him as he continues to work hard towards his goal of becoming an Air Force pilot. In order to improve on his chances to obtaining a pilot training slot in the Air Force, the completion of basic flight school and obtaining his private pilots license greatly increases his odds. Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID 19, the money for extra curricular scholarships for the R.O.T.C. Detachments has been little to none. So our goal is to help him with the costs associated with obtaining his private pilot’s license. This young man is defiantly a person we want serving for us in the future. Won’t you please help him get there. We know that times are tough right now, but every little bit would help. We thank you and Christopher will most definitely be thankful.
