Send Aiken Robotics Team to World Championship!
Tax deductible
The M’Aiken Magic Robotics Team has had another incredible year thanks to the efforts of our hardworking students and mentors. We have earned the opportunity to travel next week to compete at the FIRST Robotics World Championship with over 600 other teams from around the world.
Represented on our team are students from Aiken High School in Aiken, SC, Evans High School in Evans, GA, and several home school students from across the CSRA.
This year has been tough as our team is quite small, but our kids have worked very hard to achieve some of the best competition results in our team’s 21 year history. The road has not been smooth as the kids had to learn how to solve some tough problems, a challenging qualifier schedule, and even rebuild huge sections of their robot as the competition went on, but each time a obstacle rose in their path they overcame it.
With two qualifier championship wins and a district championship finals appearance this year’s team has created a wonderfully competitive robot, and they are inspired to continue their work in competing at the World Championship.
