Send Abby to Camp

Abby is bright and beautiful.  She can sing like anybody's business and has a presence most adults can only dream of... ...and she is one of many who lives life with an invisible disability.

Abby has Asperger's Syndrome.   Most of the time people don't see it, can't see it and won't see it; and it's okay.  But there are times when Abby's 'rock' thinking puts her in a hard place and compassion seems in short supply.  Then life seems harder than it should be for a young person with so much potential.

As Abby is preparing for entering middle school, her parents are concerned about the additional stresses and challenges that will present.  Fortuitously, Abby's parents have found a summer camp that is staffed by amazing folks with the special skills to help Abby develop some of the skills she will need for the coming years.

But this kind of camp is far from home and costs a bunch...  Time is short but it appears that this opportunity arrived at the perfect moment in Abby's world.

Please consider donating to help cover the costs of camp fees to help provide Abby with a summer of fun and growth.  So Abby can return home with new skills to tackle life and navigate well through the challenges of middle school.
