Hi hi
So here’s the situation…
About 10 months ago, I made a bold, slightly unhinged, but very necessary life decision:
I got pit tickets to see Morgan Wallen in Vegas.
Yes… PIT.
Yes… close enough to make eye contact (or at least aggressively pretend I did).
Yes… close enough to feel the *sweat of greatness*
At the time, life felt manageable.
Fast forward 10 months… and life said, “LOL, that’s cute.”
Recently, I had to use all of my saved vacation money to handle legal matters tied to a domestic violence situation. Protecting myself and my boys came first. No question, no hesitation.
But now here we are…
️ I have the tickets
I do NOT have the funds to actually get there
And it’s in two weeks. TWO. WEEKS.
---
Here’s the plan (because we’re not asking for luxury here ):
Drive to Vegas
Scream-sing every lyric like therapy depends on it
Live my best main-character moment for approximately 3 hours
Drive right back
That’s it.... no glam weekend, no “Vegas, baby!”
Just vibes, gas money, and emotional healing via country music.
---
If I’m being real…
As a single mom of three boys, I honestly can’t remember the last time I did something just for me.
When I bought these tickets, I was counting down every single day.
Like… mentally surviving off this one moment.
And yeah, I know some people will say:
> “If you can’t afford it, don’t go.”
Totally fair. Logically sound. 10/10 responsible adult advice.
But also…
✨ sometimes life is heavy
✨ sometimes you need ONE night to breathe
✨ sometimes healing looks like screaming Morgan Wallen lyrics in a crowd of strangers
---
So here I am…
Swallowing my pride just a little bit and putting this out into the universe.
If you’re feeling generous, if you’ve ever needed a break, if you believe in small moments making a big difference…
I am very open to receiving fairy godmother/godfather energy at this time
Every little bit helps get me closer to that stage (literally and emotionally).
---
If you can’t donate, sharing this means just as much ❤️
And if I make it there… just know…
I will be screaming for all of us.
---
With gratitude, a little delusion, and a lot of hope,
Rosie
