Hi, I’m Teresa Villa a disabled Latina founder, paralegal, and legal tech visionary.
I’ve been officially nominated for the 2025 Nexus Awards in the AI & Automation Vanguard category honoring my work with JusticeAI.app, BitOfJustice, and the Justice Engine to fight injustice through survivor-protected legal technology.
This is a national platform recognizing people transforming law, rights, and automation with ethics and care and I’ve been selected not because I had funding or privilege, but because I built something powerful out of lived experience.
I want to attend the Nexus Awards in San Diego this September to represent disabled women, survivors, and communities often erased from these conversations.
But I need your help to get there.
I’m fundraising to cover:
• ✈️ Travel + lodging
• ♿ Accessibility + meals
• Event attendance + materials and other awards
Anything you give helps and even if I can’t attend in person, your support will help me show up virtually with strength, confidence, and recognition.
I’ve already built tools helping people escape housing discrimination, challenge unfair government systems, and document harm. Now it’s time to share that work on a bigger stage.
Thank you for believing in this mission.
With love & justice,
Teresa
