Send a Christian book to every jail in the U.S.

My name is Jordan Wilson and I have been set free from drugs and alcohol since 2016. I surrendered my heart to Jesus Christ and have never been the same since! In 2017 a preacher who I had never met before called me out of a crowd of people and said that God wanted me to write a book; my story. He said people needed to read it and that it would help people. So, last year I began writing and it is now finished. My book is called “Jesus > Drugs: the only war won by surrender.” It’s a completely true story of the madness of my addiction and how Christ radically changed my life.

I started praying for God to give me ideas and the Lord moved me to donate a copy of my book to a local jail. It felt amazing, knowing that God would use the book to plant seeds and lead people to Christ.

Then it hit me…“What if I could somehow get a copy to every detention center in the U.S.?”

The very same day that I donated a book to the jail, my Pastor text me saying I had mail at the church. This was strange because even though I work part time at my church as the youth director, I never get mail there! It was a hand written letter from a young man in a drug rehab that I had never heard of. He read my book and is surrendering to Christ.

I believe that’s confirmation that this is what God is going to do….

My goal is to put a copy of the book "Jesus > Drugs" into every correctional facility in the United Sates.

In the year 2021, drug over dose deaths reached record breaking numbers of over 100,000 people.

1 in 5 people who are currently incarcerated are in for a drug offense.

The American criminal justice system holds almost 2.3 million people in 1,833 state prisons, 110 federal prisons, 1,772 juvenile correctional facilities, 3,134 local jails, 218 immigration detention facilities, and 80 Indian Country jails as well as in military prisons, civil commitment centers, state psychiatric hospitals, and prisons in the U.S. territories.

This is a total of 7,147 facilities that we want to give a copy of this book.

I know what it’s like to sit in jail and feel hopeless. I remember thinking I would die in addiction. Then I met Jesus. He saved me. He changed me. I am truly set free from addiction and I want to share the gospel to the ends of the earth!

This will take a miracle to happen but we serve the God of miracles!

I believe that there are individuals, churches and businesses with the means to make this happen. This is not for personal gain or attention. This is to spread the gospel. Will you join me?
