Hi, my name is Colleen and I’m starting this go fund me for my sister Sara. Sara is a loving wife, mother to 2 boys, sister and daughter.

In February she found out she’s suffering from hemolytic anemia where her red blood cells are destroyed faster than her body can make them. With that something has attacked her liver which has lead to multiple hospital stays, lots of medical testing, and treatments. In August, she started testing and evaluations to have a transplant. She was approved from IU hospitals medical board to be placed on the transplant list to receive a new liver.

This fundraiser is to help her family with the medical expenses associated with Sara’s care; including medications, surgery and post transplant needs. Please help us support them as they navigate this process. Every little bit helps take the financial burden from them so that they can focus their efforts on loving and supporting Sara.
