January 21 is my birthday!  My wish and plan is to complete principal photography on my independent short film "21 Days of April" by January 26th and immediately move into the post production phase and preparation for the film festival circuit. I am funding the production of this low-budget project but I would love to enhance my budget financially so that this amazing film is presented with an optimal spirit of excellence.  (Check out the video!)
Pure and simple...THIS IS MY PASSION PROJECT! I wrote it and I'm directing this romantic-dramedy reminiscent of the classic late '90's hit film "Love Jones" and it challenges the question of what happens when "the one" that got away returns without warning? Two photographers explore that question "frame by frame" through the lens of their cameras bringing a whole new meaning to SHOOT YOUR SHOT!
But... is it too late? 

My goal is to not only take the film out on the festival circuit but also use it as a proof of concept for a potential backdoor television pilot or full-length version of the film to market to a digital streaming provider. Once upon a time, I stepped out on faith and shot a pilot presentation via 100% crowd funding efforts and six months later that project entitled "In Full Bloom" landed me a pilot deal. I have been encouraged over the span of my long career as a television writer and producer to continue telling good, relatable stories with humor and heart and I can't wait to share "21 Days of April" with the world because we need more stories that will inspire people to trust love and the timing of their life.

The number seven represents completion and with that in mind, I like to think  "21"  is symbolic for completion of the three facets of production (pre, pro, post) for this film.  My birthday is the 21st day of January and I am taking bold creative leaps in this leap year of 2020, so with your support, "21 Days of April" will be available for you and the world to enjoy soon and very soon!  In the spirit of 21, the goal of $2,100 will help with editing, sound mixing, color correction and marketing and with over 4,000 followers and friends on social media, a ONE DOLLAR donation per friend/follower would exceed my goal!
