We are raising funds in honor of our brother, Jared E. Sherrell, who we lost on November 2nd. Jared served with pride as a United States Marine and Afghanistan veteran. He was an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter, stationed at MCAS Cherry Point and deployed with MWSS-274.
Jared was a native of Nashville, Tennessee. While deployed to Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, he earned a Certificate of Commendation from the Royal Air Force for supporting U.K. forces during an emergency. His actions reflected the bond between American and British service members and the highest standards of the Marine Corps.
This fundraiser was not started by his family. We did seek permission from his wife Marina Sherrell. It is being organized by Marines who served with him and loved him. We want to support his wife and daughter during this difficult time and show them the same brotherhood Jared showed us.
Thank you for anything you are able to give. Honor, respect, and Semper Fidelis.
