Semester at Sea
Donation protected
Hi everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a junior at UNCW this year studying pre-health biology with a minor in psychology. In the spring I am participating in a 4 month long study abroad program that I have been dreaming of for years! When I heard I could study abroad in college, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Semester at Sea is the experience of a lifetime. I will get to travel to 10 different countries in 3 different continents throughout the trip all while earning school credit.
This is the itinerary for my voyage:
• Bangkok, Thailand ~ Jan 5
• Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ~ Jan 12-17
• Penang, Malaysia ~ Jan 23-28
• Cochin, India ~ Feb 4-9
• Mombasa, Kenya ~ Feb 17-22
• Cape Town, South Africa ~ Mar 3-8
• Tema & Takoradi, Ghana ~ Mar 17-22
• Casablanca, Morocco ~ Apr 1-6
• La Coruña, Spain ~ Apr 9-13
• Bremerhaven, Germany ~ Apr 20
Not only will this be such an amazing learning experience but it’s going to be SO FUN! I will be traveling with 500 students my age and we are going to get opportunities to explore the countries on our own in addition to our field days. I am so incredibly grateful to my mom and dad for supporting my dreams and helping me make this program a reality for me. However, it is definitely not cheap. I am applying to all the scholarships I can but it is still a lot of money. I have been working so hard the past year, saving up for this trip, and it would be nice to have a little extra spending money. If you want to donate anything at all I would appreciate that so so so much! I plan on posting all about the trip on my instagram, so if you want to keep up with me, my account is @molly.mcmorrow
