Selsey Avenue Playing Fields were gifted to the council and wider community for use by local residents and sports teams for recreational purposes only, including but not limited to football, rugby, dog walking and as a general area for children to play in a safe and secure environment. The current security measures have proved to be inadequate and now people are using the land for illegal activities that are depriving the larger community from using the land for its intended purposes. To that end, we are asking for donations to finance more robust security measures to be implemented in order to prevent future illegal and antisocial use of the land.
