Hi, my name is Emily, or simply 'Em' (u/the_emilytcollier), and I am a professional artist and design student from Kitchener, Ontario.
I am using this platform to advocate for my closest friends, my chosen family, who are currently facing some of the most difficult challenges of their lives, and need urgent financial and psychological support.
Why This Campaign is Important
My friends are the kindest and most compassionate people, but they are also fiercely proud and would never ask for help publicly. They are currently dealing with:
- Severe food insecurity (going hungry often).
- Major battles with depression, isolation, and anxiety.
- One friend is on the verge of homelessness and needs emergency rent assistance.
I am committed to protecting their dignity. My goal is to deliver all aid anonymously—via gift cards, paying bills directly, or covert means—so they can accept the support without sacrificing their pride.
How You Can Help: Art and Direct Support
I am leading this mission myself, with a dual approach:
1. Art Purchases (Primary Goal): The main engine of this campaign is selling my art. I paint unique pieces, like my popular Spongebob mini-canvases and custom commissions. 100% of all profits from purchases go directly to the mission.
