Sellesta and Jen Need Your Kindness

Hello everyone.

I'm Jen, a trans woman, and my wife is Sellesta. (In the picture, she's the pretty one with the glasses and the smile.)

My wife has recently been seriously ill and will be unable to work for at least two more weeks. I'm unemployed (but have been looking very hard), and she's been the only person here who's been bringing in an income. With her not working, we're looking at some serious trouble with food, bills, and rent. We've just paid our rent for April with the last of what we had, but now we're at the end of our resources.

While we're trying to get her short-term disability payments to help, we can't be sure of the approvals. Our goal is to make up the equivalent of one paycheck, which should (cross fingers) at least get us through to May, just to keep afloat.

I know we've asked a lot before, but between my unemployment and her chronic illnesses, it's been needed. I'm looking at alternative legal options for income, and she's also working with doctors for her illnesses. We just want to be able to survive.
