Wade Long has been a volunteer fireman in Catoosa County, GA for over 40 years, a paramedic over 25 years, and served on the TN-1 DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team) for over 14 years. This man has given countless hours of his time to help others and save lives.

     He is the sole provider in his home and for the second time in his life he has been diagnosed with cancer. He is expected to make a full recovery after surgery if everything goes well. However, the weeks of down time while he recovers is going to cause a huge financial strain on him and his wife who is also struggling with her own health issues.

     I have created this fundraising account in hopes that I can raise enough money to ease the financial strain on him while he is unable to work.

     Please help me give back to a local hero who has saved countless numbers of lives. The only thing he should be worrying about while recovering from surgery is healing and not how he will keep the lights on.
