Support Ms.Yaneth Recovery from Drunk Driver's Hit

We are the parents of Children's House 3 at a Montessori school in Naperville, IL. You may not know all of us, but if you're reading this you likely know at least one of us and our bright children. You also know that our kids are students at this school and we've likely gushed about their wonderful teacher, Ms. Yaneth Falcon, and the kind and caring community she's fostered for them.

Since she has joined our community, she has shared her family with us, joined us at birthday celebrations, and continued to support our children's growth despite staffing and budget changes at school. We do what we can as a classroom community to support her, but recently, tragedy struck and we are rallying all the help we can to support her through it.

Ms. Yaneth, who works a second job at night to support her daughter through law school, was hit by a drunk driver in a car that is already ill-equipped to keep her safe under normal circumstances. While she did not sustain life-threatening injuries, she did suffer a concussion and is now without reliable transportation to either of the two jobs she works. She also now has new medical, legal, and other associated bills that will not be covered by the driver who hit her or by her insurance. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to help her through this difficult time, support the cost of legal representation, and get her back on the road in a safe way with minimal additional financial burden.

Through the loss of close family, and now this, Ms. Yaneth has continued to show up for our kids without asking for support or wavering in her warmth, care, and strength. She believes in our children and families, and she deserves all the love and support we can give her. Please help us help her.
