Self Sustainable Community Land Project

Hello we are Tim & Chavon Ford from YouTube channel T3 and Me. We repatriated to Tanzania, Africa a year ago with our son for many reasons including spiritual reasons, reconnecting with our roots, a better life for our son, safety, and to return to the ancient ways of living a healthy, self sustainable lifestyle.

 

A few months ago, we were led to start a community land project where we purchased 18 acres of land with a few other repats from around the diaspora, with the vision of working collectively to build a self sustainable community, off the grid. To date we have secured 18 acres of land here in Tanzania and are in the process of having the land surveyed and zoned.

 

The entire plot is 50 acres, so we are requesting support to help secure the other 32 acres. We see that with the way things are heading, it is extremely vital now more than ever to grow your own food and be self reliant. Additionally, many individuals would like to join this project but lack the funds to engage in a task of this magnitude, so by lessening the burden of finances when our brothers and sisters come here, the transition will be that much smoother. With your support, we will continue to build this community and have somewhere for repats to dwell, and be safe and self sustainable with their families and other like-minded individuals The support will also firstly go towards other important items and tasks such as clearing the land (as it is virgin land), installing solar panels, digging wells, installing septic tanks, purchasing farm equipment, fencing off the land, learning survival techniques, clearing & paving roads, installing internet, hiring local help, purchasing a community vehicle, aquaponics, purchasing cattle & animals, etc.
