Hello dog lovers,

My name is Mike Shaw, as many know I recently Rescued a well known stray in Golden Valley I named Selena who, in an unexpected twist turned out to be pregnant and it hasn't been easy for me at all juggling her and these 6 puppies that are now 8 days old, and my other 2 rescued dogs ( 1 from TX by train tracks, other from MN). I work in the transportation industry as an owner operator So I have had to miss a lot of jobs and take time off of work to care for Selena & her babies and I will have to take at least 3 more weeks off now its looking like and its already taken a financial toll on me as I was already struggling from a transmission replacement that ended up being 7 grand. I recently had no choice but to take all dogs with me too on a drive to Northern CA and back so I could pay my rent here & keeping them all separate and where i can watch the pups while driving was quite a situation. Selena trusts me, you can see it the video of her Rescue, she wont allow just anyone to come near her right now. Nobody but myself are able to come near or pick up the pups/move her if she lays on one (she does often & killed the runt this way) Which has complicated things even further.. I have to be home with her. If you can donate dog food please do as Im also trying to rehome and keep fed another dog that belongs to a woman in the valley that cannot and does not want to care for. Im in the process of starting My dog Rescue here in this area we have a name, logo and business plan. Also plan to raise money with t-shirts to feed and rescue more stray/lost dogs in the kingman/bullhead area. I really hope to save as many dogs in this valley as possible.
