Selena Spiropoulos's Cancer & Medical Fund

One morning in January, Selena woke up with a strange tingling in her left arm. Assuming she just slept wrong on it, she went on about her day. It wasn't until later that afternoon when she was typing at her desk, she realized something was wrong - her pinky had suddenly stopped responding. As the day progressed, each finger had started to slowly lose feeling and movement. The days went by and the numbness quickly progressed through her forearm, past her elbow, eventually making it's way up to her shoulder. Two weeks later it was beginning to affect her left leg and foot.

Over the course of the following two weeks, she had appointments set for x-rays, a visit with a neurologist, and an MRI. The X-ray showed two masses in her lung and a biopsy was recommended.

On February 27, 2020, Selena was given the news... The two 2cm masses on her lungs were cancerous. Within hours the MRI results came back showing a 3cm tumor in her brain. The brain tumor is directly affecting the motor function in the left side of her body.
