A lot of you have asked how you can help our small business, Select Shades. Specifically and especially, how to help our furloughed employees during this time. I realize it doesn't make sense for a lot of you to shop on our website. Shades are not easy to buy online - which is why we focus on our retail stores! Sadly, they're closed right now (along with thousands of other small businesses).
It's humbling to ask for funds like this. I want our associates to have a fund to draw from in case they get sick, need essentials, or just need a little bit to pay a minimum bill they can't defer. We're applying for SBA loans and the like, but those processes take time. I'd like have a fund in place to assist us with these requests. This will help us all get through this valley and back into the sunshine.
We would appreciate any donation beyond description. And we'd be happy to convert donations to gift cards for when the stores are open again. May your shine never be diminished even in the most trying of circumstances! Thank you, humbly.
