I've known my house would never be a home without a dog in it. Thanks to the pandemic, dogs and puppies have been sold out! Wanted a rescue, not a designer dog; wanted an older dog, not a puppy... Make plans God laughs and 2020 took over with the "sold out" sign for all dogs. Then I was lead to this little litter outside of WA by a high school friend. And come on, the mother's name is Dolly - a match made in heaven??

So, that's the tail of what lead me to Selah, a Goldendoodle puppy who arrives on July 25th.

But that's not quite the whole story. I am in the midst of seeking full-time employment and no CARES act help seems to fit my situation. And being on the wrong side of this canine economy means prices are sky high and used "puppy stuff" is scarce. 

I have put together the first-year budget which includes initial costs, healthcare, and more extensive training.

Yes, Selah proves she likes to escape already, but she doesn't know that her predecessor, Mocha, taught me how to prepare for adventurous types. Just took a lot of work, but I think we're ready!
