Support David's Long Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Those that know us know we don't usually ask for much; rather, we are the ones to give. Things have changed a bit. On May 6th, while boiling potatoes, there was a catastrophic equipment failure. This failure resulted in David receiving second-degree burns to his face, chest, arms, groin, and upper legs. There was a trip to the ER, then a transfer to the Upstate University Burn Center, followed by a stay in the burn ICU and a surgery to remove dead skin. David is home now but will need many follow-up visits and treatments. The path to recovery looks good, but long and expensive. While there is health insurance, it is not the best, with a high deductible and many items/services uncovered. We are asking for your support to ease the burden of these so David can focus on recovery and not worry so much about the bills. Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated.
