Help Support My Friend Living With Seizures
I'm reaching out to ask for your support for a dear friend of mine who lives with unpredictable and debilitating seizures. Recently, he suffered a severe seizure that caused him to fall and hit his head on an oven door, shattering the glass and leaving him badly injured and covered in blood. Thankfully, he survived but this incident is just one example of the daily risks he faces.
He lives in constant fear of the next seizure, whether it will happen while he's alone, in public, or near something dangerous. Despite his strength and resilience, the financial burden of medical bills, safety modifications, and basic living costs has become overwhelming.
My friend wants to work. He’s willing, capable, and ready to contribute, but his body doesn’t always let him. Seizures strike without warning, turning even the safest job into a risk. And after each one, the aftermath isn’t just physical, it’s disorienting, exhausting, and sometimes dangerous to push through. He’s not unreliable, his condition is. And that huge difference makes holding a job nearly impossible, no matter how hard he tries.
Your donation will help cover:
Medical care and neurological evaluations
Emergency and follow-up treatments
Safety equipment and home modifications to prevent future injuries
Daily living expenses during recovery
Rent and Food
Anything you can give, whether it's a donation or simply sharing this with others, makes a real difference. Honestly, a job or training for a job recommendation would be the most helpful. Thank you for helping me support someone who truly needs it.
