A photography project for democracy across Germany — for participation, diversity, tolerance, equality, and human dignity.

Democracy needs people who stand up — against a resurgent far right, against discrimination, racism, and fascist ideology.

I photograph role models in civic courage: public figures and those who work quietly under the radar, but no less powerfully.

In December, I presented the first 16 portraits in a group exhibition at Haus am Dom in Frankfurt.

Now I want to complete the project: around 10 more people will be portrayed — and all photographs will travel across Germany in a nationwide touring exhibition.

To make this happen, I need your support — for travel, production, and securing exhibition venues across the country. Every contribution helps bring these faces of democracy into the light.
