Emma & Sei Matsubayashi College Fund
Donation protected
On September 4, 2019, we lost a giant. Dean Matsubayashi was the Executive Director of Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), a 40-year old community development and social service nonprofit here in LA. He worked at LTSC for 21 years – serving as executive director for 5. His commitment to the Little Tokyo neighborhood and to building healthy and equitable neighborhoods across LA and the country was undeniable.
Although many of us are still processing Dean's passing, one thing is clear - he gave so much to all of our friends and communities. His generosity and love for others was immeasurable, and priceless.
To show our gratitude and honor his memory, we have challenged ourselves to raise $20,000 for Emma (11) and Sei's (7) higher education. We encourage you to join us and donate what you can. All funds will be given directly to Dean’s wife, Kim, so she can use them for the children’s higher education as she sees fit.
