Accessible van
Donation protected
Hi,
I am setting up a Go Fund Me for my daugher, Mary, to be able to buy a wheelchair accessible van to accomodate my grandsons growing needs.
For those of you that do not know the story of Mary and Carter:
Carter was diagnosed with Lissencephaly (a rare gene-linked brain malfunction) at around 3 weeks old. Only 1 in 100,000 babies are born with this rare condition. Though this news was tough to hear at first, Mary quickly adjusted her life and her way of living. Mary quit her job at our local Preschool to become her sons fulltime caregiver. The last two years have been full of ups and downs. Carter is the joy of our lives and continues to impress us with his accomplishments. Mary works tirelessly with Carter in all areas of his treatment. Constant visits to Boston Childrens Hospital. Physical Therapy. Speech Therapy. Visits to Perkins School for the Blind. Early Intervention visits. Occupational Therapy and so much more.
Though this has been an unexpected and sometimes hard journey, Carter is the light of our lives and his smile melts our hearts. He is such a loveable little boy and his momma is one one amazing woman!!!!
Please consider donating so that Mary can continue to focus on Carters various treatments and give her the ability to take Carters specialized equipment with her to appointments.
