Oreo’s MRI and future treatment

On Saturday January 21st Oreo woke up not being able to walk. She had no use of her back legs. After seeing her vet it had been determined she had a herniated disc causing paralysis. Steroids and Antibiotics were given to see if the paralysis would go away. Oreo’s owner was told surgery could be an option but an MRI needed to be done to determine that. Since there has been no improvement with mobility we had a conversation with Oreo’s owner and said we would like to help. My husband and I love Oreo like she is our own and it is extremely difficult to see her in this condition especially since she is only 2 years old and has a full life ahead of her. Since the MRI, surgery, and physical therapy will be insanely expensive we are asking for any amount of donation to help Oreo. Likely she could still live a long life but being mobile again would certainly be a life changer.
