Seeking Urgent Support to Avoid Homelessness

Donation protected
Hi, and thank you for reading my story.

My name is Rich Keller. I'm a 56-year-old divorced father of five. I am also neurodivergent, diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2020.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

Thank you for the donations. The halfway point of the 1st level goal is near. You have provided a true blessing to me. I'll continue to provide updates.

Life has thrown me a series of curveballs to create a perfect storm of ill-fated circumstances. After a long period of unemployment for most of 2024, I was grateful to find a job in November. Sadly, this abruptly ended in a layoff this past March.

On top of this, my car was totaled in an accident in February. This significant blow has prevented me from earning supplemental income through Instacart and Uber.

Now, things have become incredibly serious. I'm leaving my apartment complex on April 30th because I can't afford the rent, and I currently don't have another place to go.

There's a real risk of becoming homeless, a situation that is particularly challenging while I continue to travel and rebuild the complex highways of mental illness. I'd rather not repeat this situation, which occurred between 2019 and 2022.

To prevent this and to address other immediate financial needs, including repaying required child support, I'm reaching out for urgent help. My goal is to raise $7500. This amount will provide a crucial lifeline, helping me secure housing and a vehicle. In addition, it will stabilize my situation during this critical time while I obtain a new job.

I don't ask this without taking steps to move forward. I have applied for rent assistance and grants. I'm working with a job coach to enhance my resume. I am taking business classes to advance my authoring goals. I have contacted several local, state, and national organizations for guidance.

I pray and manifest boldly and with clarity. I have faith in God and the Universe. It is something I've been training my bipolar brain on over the years. Through this, combined with the kindness and compassion of others, I can overcome this challenge.

Any support you can offer for this immediate need would be a tremendous blessing. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to safety and security. Your generosity can not only provide practical help but also offer immense emotional support and hope during this dark period.

If you can help, please consider donating to my GoFundMe campaign. If you can't contribute financially at this time, I urge you to share the message with your network. Your willingness to spread the word would also be deeply appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer. Your kindness and compassion mean the world to me right now.

"And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches ..."
