With heavy hearts, we are reaching out to ask for support for the Hanna family following the loss of Wilbur Hanna.

Wilbur sadly passed away on December 12, 2025, at Percy’s Place in Miramichi. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his laid-back, easy-going nature, and the friendly presence that made everyone feel welcome. Wilbur was many things to many people—a beloved Papa, a caring uncle, a dear cousin, and a true friend. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Along with the heartbreak of losing Wilbur, the family is facing financial challenges. He did not have savings or life insurance to help cover funeral arrangements or the legal fees required to settle his estate. His only daughter Sylvia, who is handling these responsibilities, has been off work since February due to medical reasons and does not yet have a return-to-work date, making this an especially difficult time.
