Lesley Irene Benefield, 56, passed away on May 13, 2025, in Oregon, Ohio, the same city where she was born on February 7, 1969. Her life was a vibrant tapestry of love, strength, and service—a presence that left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Lesley was the beloved daughter of Leila Benefield and the late Ronald Benefield. She shared a close bond with her brother, Dennis M. Benefield. As a devoted mother to Kalee J. Doll and Kyle M. Doll, Lesley poured her heart into raising her children with warmth and resilience. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren—Arabella E. Doll, Aubrey E. Doll, and Gabriel E. Doll—who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind many Friends, Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who were touched by her generous, uplifting, and sometimes quirky spirit.
Known for her fiery personality and unwavering spirit, Lesley was a cornerstone in the lives of those around her. Lesley was known for always putting others before herself, helping any and all in need. Her generous spirit and willingness to help those in need defined much of her life. Whether offering a listening ear or stepping in during difficult times, she gave freely of her time and energy to support others
Lesley had a deep connection to nature and animals, finding peace and joy in the natural world. Her love for the outdoors was matched only by her passion for spiritual exploration. She held a profound belief in the mysteries of life beyond this world and often shared that perspective with others through astrological birth charts and zodiac signs. Many will remember her not only for these unique gifts but also for the larger-than-life attitude she brought into every room.
Her vibrant personality and strong sense of individuality made her unforgettable. Lesley embraced life with intensity and authenticity, never afraid to speak her truth or walk her own path. She believed deeply in the unseen forces that shape our lives and often offered guidance through means of tarot cards and incense reading sessions that reflected both wisdom and intuition.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
