Seeking Support for Critical Liver Transplant
Donation protected
As many of you have just found out and say that they didn't have any idea that I was so sick. Well, neither did I. I knew that something was wrong, but I would have never dreamed of how sick I actually am until several months ago. I finally went to a doctor and after all kinds of blood tests and CT scans I was referred to see a liver specialist. What I was about to find out, laying in a hospital bed in Savannah, was that apparently I have been sick for while now. I went home thinking that I just had an enlarged liver and enlarged spleen, but did not grasp the severity of it all. It wasn't untill almost a month ago that I found myself back in the ER in Vidalia and was told that I am in the end stage of cirrhosis of the liver and officially in liver failure. From there I was transferred to Piedmont hospital in Atlanta and met with a team of transplant specialists and informed that I need to have a liver transplant to be able to live. To say how scared I am would be an understatement. So now I'm faced with so many expenses with Dr. Appointments and expenses to travel back and forth to Atlanta, better insurance and still will need money for the transplant and aftercare . So, as much as I hate to ask for a little help, I'm at the point that I am asking for help. To set this Go Fund Me account up I was asked what amount that I was asking for to meet my goal. The answer to that question is that I don't know. At this point anything at all will help. I put my goal at $5 because even that amount is help. So, if there is anyone that could or will help me a little I would forever be greatful and appreciate literally appreciate even the smallest amount. If anyone donates thank you so much and if you can't, I absolutely understand and appreciate all of the prayers that I can get. I thank and love you all!!!
