Hi, my name is Louise, and I’m reaching out for support in what has been one of the most isolating and hardest times of my life and facing homelessness soon.
For a long time, I’ve felt trapped in a situation that has taken a deep toll on my mental and emotional health. Without family or close friends to lean on, I have found myself alone, struggling to find a way out. I was raised in a not so well off family and faced a lot of mental, emotional and physical abuse from them and had to escape. Unfortunately I found my self in a very unsafe situation that I’m currently living in and unable to escape. The local council and “help lines” have done nothing so now I’m reaching out :)
My immediate burden is the debt of £1,680.08, which has kept me tied to a place I no longer feel safe or valued. I’m hoping to raise up to £4,500, not just to clear this debt, but to cover the costs of moving and rebuilding my life from scratch also to be able to give room for first month of rent and deposit. Unfortunately me being in debt wasn’t my choice it was for me to be able to eat and afford to live under other people’s roofs and also caused by the person I’m trying to get away from.
I personally hate to ask for help as I always manage to do things on my own and bottle it up and persevere, but I know I can’t do this alone. If you can spare anything, or even just share this with others, it would mean the world to me. I just want a chance to breathe, to find my peace, and to believe in a better future as up to now I’ve never genuinely felt safe in an environment or happy with myself. I’ve suffered a lot of mental health problems due to life long abuse and it causes an effect to the point I’m unable to work causing me to be in a trapped cycle because of the environments I am in. I’m trying my hardest to stay strong and be able to finally break free and feel happy for once because I’ve never had freedom and space to breathe without feeling immense pressure and stress, and being on heightened survival mode.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and support, in whatever form it comes, would make a world of difference.
