Seeking support after a life altering back injury
On March 19th of last year, David Deen’s life changed dramatically after a traumatic work-related injury left him with severe spinal damage and chronic pain. Once active and hardworking, David now faces daily challenges that have made it impossible for him to continue working or even manage basic daily activities without assistance. Over the past 11 months, David has endured multiple medical procedures, ongoing treatments, and constant pain while navigating the complex process of applying for Social Security Disability and pursuing legal action related to his injury. Despite these efforts, the financial burden has been overwhelming. His savings have been exhausted, and he now faces the possibility of losing both his home and his vehicle.
For the past seven months, David’s church family at 9th Street Church in Eldon, Missouri has stepped in to help cover essential bills and even provide gas vouchers so he can attend critical medical appointments in Columbia and Jefferson City. Unfortunately, he is still waiting for approval for hospital financial assistance and is struggling to afford the medications prescribed for his condition. David has reluctantly begun sharing his story and started a GoFundMe in hopes that compassionate individuals may be willing to help him during this incredibly difficult season. Any support whether financial, prayers, or simply sharing his story means more than words can express. If you come across David Deen’s GoFundMe page and feel led to help, your generosity could make a real difference in helping him stay afloat while he continues his recovery journey. Thank you in advance for any support, kindness, or prayers you can offer.
