My name is Kalub, and this is honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share. For a long time, the environment I’ve been living in has become toxic, controlling, and emotionally damaging. It’s affecting my mental health, my spiritual growth, and even my ability to work and stay stable. I’ve reached a point where I need to take real steps toward safety and independence — and I can’t do it alone.

I’ve been praying for a door to open, and this GoFundMe is me taking a step of faith toward a healthier future.

THE PLAN — WHY THE GOAL IS $7,000

STEP 1 — A Car in My Name (My First Breakthrough Toward Freedom)

The first and most crucial step is getting a safe, reliable used car fully in my name. This allows me to keep my job, stay mobile, and be completely independent from the control and unpredictability I’m facing now.

This includes:

• Buying a reliable used car

• Safety & e-test

• Plates & registration

• Insurance setup

• Getting it fully legal on the road

Having a car in my name is the foundation of my independence.

STEP 2 — Moving Into Safe, Affordable Housing

Once I have transportation, the next step is moving out into a safe, affordable place where I can heal, grow, and rebuild.

This includes:

• First & last month’s rent

• Basic furniture/essentials

• A small emergency buffer so I don’t fall back into instability

This isn’t for luxury. This isn’t for comfort. This is for survival, safety, stability, and a fresh start.

I’m doing everything I can on my own — I’m working, saving, and budgeting — but I can’t make these two steps happen without support. As humbling and vulnerable as it is, I’m reaching out because I truly need help to get out of this situation and into a healthier, safer life.
