I was a victim of a major car accident in September 2019. I was stopped at a stoplight behind a tractor-trailer, and some guy hit me from behind and pushed me 4’ under the trailer. I was in the ICU unit at Yale New Haven Hospital for 4 months, suffering from broken vertebrae, leg, ribs, and shoulder. This accident caused me to die 6x, but now I am in a wheelchair and fighting every day to improve myself!

In 2021, we bought a used 2007 Toyota Sienna Wheelchair Van. It has served us well, but the van is in very bad shape with the entire underside rusted out. We have been told that it is unsafe to drive, so now, I am stuck. Public buses are an option, but they are only available to go to doctor appointments. I want to live again and do as much as I am able from my wheelchair, but that means that I need transportation.

The wheelchair van garage told us that they have a 2014 used van for $43,900, and we could get a 7.9% loan with a payment over $700 per month.

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

I am looking for financial assistance for getting a new used van.
