Howdy friends!

I am excited to announce that I have been accepted into the Lyndon B. Johnson Women’s Campaign School at the University of Texas. The program is geared toward developing the skills needed to help on a campaign, advocate for good laws, and run for office. I am happy to report that Walmart has graciously provided for my tuition of $1800 through a scholarship.

My excitement to be a part of this program is found in a long-standing participation in community and church events. I want to pick up the pace and return to my roots in contributing to a better tomorrow for my children and grandchildren. And for your family too!

As part of the skillset needed, I am raising the rest of the funds. In total, I will need to raise $626. This will cover my hotel stay in Austin (I agreed to have a roommate), gas, food, parking, incidentals, and fees.

• Hotel costs (3 nights sharing + taxes) $340

• Gas (one tank) $40

• Parking (3 days at $21/day) $63

• Food (3 days/6 meals eating out) $90

• Incidentals $75

• GoFundMe fee (at 2.9%) $18
